Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development professional to join our team in the commercial landscaping industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and enhancing our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies.
- Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate new leads through networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with management to create and execute sales strategies that align with company goals.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs, showcasing our services and value propositions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Reporting: Monitor and report on sales metrics and market trends, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and expand our network.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree (preferred but not required) in Business, Marketing, Horticulture, or related field
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
